  Land Home saved my home purchase. Last year, I was originally going through Wells Fargo for a mortgage, but two days before closing they came back and said they wouldn't do the loan because the (late) appraisal said there was mold in the basement. I knew about the mold and had planned on having it remediated before I moved in, but Wells Fargo said they wouldn't do the loan "for my safety" even though it was a conventional loan on an "As Is" house, not an FHA loan. I had already sent in my notice to vacate to my apartment, and I had around 30 days to find another loan company to complete a mortgage before I'd be without a place to live. Deborah from Land Home saved me, and the underwriters at Land Home managed to push the loan through in just 25 days. Now I have a beautiful (and mold-free) home all thanks to Deborah and the Land Home underwriters.

  This company is the worst ever, stay away. John R is the biggest lire. After completing an application it took ten days for them to get back to me. Once we got to the paper work part I was constantly sending documentation over and over and over. The day my loan was suppose to close an appraisal showed up at my door wanting to do an appraisal. John told me the appraisal was already done and sometimes appraisals go out there to double check somethings. I called the appraiser to find out if he had already appraised my home and he said he just received the order on a rush. I asked him what this was going to cost me and he said he did it at $600.00. John told me that it would not run me more than $300. My closing was pushed back three times. At this point I called another lender up. With in 2 hours they got back to me. I sent over my documentation, they ordered an appraisal. Never asked me for more documentation. We closed with in 10 days. I had been working John for almost 60 days. Land Home seems like they are very disorganized and they have a bunch of crooks working for the company.

  Jon, had 7 weeks to close a very easy loan. For 6 weeks I text him over and over for the first time home buyer link. Last Thursday after texting him all day he finally sent it. Friday there debt to income issues. Today suppose to close and I don't qualify for First Time Home Buyer because Debt to Income out of wack. He also said appraiser did not turn the appraisal in time. Appraiser is Pissed because he said they had the appraisal weeks ago. Seller waiting to close, so they can close on there place. If looking for a loan consider Mike Petri at M and M Mortgage. Michael Dietrich at I Loan or anyone at Pacfic Union. What a joke.
